I like my literature bleak and atmospheric, mysterious and a little spooky. (This isn't the only way I like my literature, true, but it's a definite favourite.) To up the energy and interest, it's all the more intriguing if it features the occult AND has the elements of a ghost story. Which is why Beneath London's Fog is a must read for me this autumn!
