"When I was growing up my parents always told me never to talk to strangers, and here I am, about to sleep with one."
I received this novel during a Goodreads giveaway and was firstly quite surprised to see just how short it actually was. Based on the description as well as various reviews I’ve seen, it sparked my interest and promised to show me a juicy romance with a perfect (and stunning) setting. And how cute is its cover? I mean, really?! Totally cute and oh, what I wouldn’t give to be in such a paradise. I mean really, who doesn’t want an escape?
As you probably could guess this is a romance/new adult novel and if that isn’t your cup of tea (or if you’re still a little nugget!) this isn’t recommended for you. Mad Love’s plot starts off right away with our virginal narrator and her two best friends (who are happily together) spending a large chunk of change on a vacation that promises relaxation, fun and a ton of beautiful scenery. This comes after the lead quits law school, dumps her boring fiance and needs an escape.
Enter exotic getaway, potential (hot) mysterious male lead and endless possibilities.
