Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Collect Multiple Editions Of (#41)
11:00 PM
Hoarder? ME?
For those of you who are new to my blog, or the book blogging community, Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, originating over at the Broke and the Bookish, and is exactly what its title hints at. Each week we're given a topic to explore in our entries.
This weeks topic is actually Books That I Refuse to Let Anyone Touch. To be honest, I used to refuse to let certain people touch certain books after they'd damaged or lost other books. Then, I cleaned house on friendships for reasons unrelated and now the people in my life are free to borrow nearly whatever they want, when they want. In all honesty, I might have a book hoarding problem? Well, for some books, anyways. And I'd have so many more editions of certain books if I could, yenno, afford it--in particular, Harry Potter and The Shadowhunter Chronicles. Ahh.
I'm a sucker for pretty covers and a lot of my books, fortunately, have had a lot of gorgeous designs and various editions. I couldn't think of ten books or series on their own, but if you think about it I'm giving more than ten books if you count them by the edition.
Anyways, here's
HARRY POTTER by J.K. Rowling
THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS by Cassandra Clare
WUTHERING HEIGHTS by Emily Brontë
GOSSIP GIRL by Cecily von Ziegesar
THE SECRET CIRCLE by L.J. Smith
Do you collect multiple editions of your favourite books?
