It's Only a Game Tag: Celebrating Caraval

Finale is so close, we can almost taste it.
When I first read my ARC of Caraval by Stephanie Garber, I felt its magic through every moment and felt thoroughly consumed by it. I always knew it was going to be a series that meant something to me and that was certainly an understatement.
As we approach the release of the series conclusion, Finale, I thought it might be fun to do something leading up to it. Both to get to know each other as a fandom and to show our love of the series. I am always down to talk about Caraval with others.
I've just finished my reread of Caraval and Legendary, and although I didn't get an ARC of Finale (the first of the series to not be on my shelf) I already know how stunning and compelling it will be. Which means, we definitely need to celebrate it, while we are waiting for our pre-orders and/or release day.

While reading Caraval and Legendary, we become acquainted with the very different, but similarly determined, Dragna sisters: Scarlett and Donatella/"Tella"--which do you see yourself in the most? Scarlett and Tella both have to pay a peculiar price in the series. For Scarlett, she pays with some of her life. Tella pays with her rest. They are both remarkably similar, because they are losing something in the process. Which would you rather give up? Or are you unwilling to sacrifice either?
