Top Ten Tuesday: Ten Most Recent Additions to My Bookshelf (#76)
11:00 PMAm I on my way to becoming a full time book hoarder? Maybe. You call it hoarding, I call it building a castle with literature. (Or, if we want to get logical, a personal library.) And, okay, sure, fine, I'm not a hoarder. Here are some of the most recent additions to my bookshelf.
For those of you who are new to my blog, or the book blogging community, Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, originating over at the Broke and the Bookish, and is exactly what its title hints at. Each week we're given a topic to explore in our entries.
Two of my most recent ARCs are My Dark Vanessa and All the Stars and Teeth. I'm excited to dive into both for various, different, ways! My Dark Vanessa already has the appearance of something dark and chilling; I'm participating in a tour for All the Stars and Teeth, which is SO intriguing. Woven in Moonlight has the most beautiful cover of 2020, hands down. AND the magic within it is just as stunning as you'd expect. You're going to adore this book and I'm so excited to be a part of a blog tour for it. BRB, staring at the cover for the rest of the year. The Luminaries has been on my TBR for years, and I just got my hands on it for a few bucks while thrifting. Swoon.
Night Spinner has one of the most intriguing premises and covers of the year. I'm so excited for this magical retelling. The same can be said of Seven Endless Forests--I mean, can YOU guys resist? I know I can't.
You Let Me In has such a haunting synopsis, I couldn't resist requesting it. My ARC has been calling my name since it arrived in late December. Ugh, I'm READY. And Ink in the Blood is one of my most anticipated fantasy releases of the year--give me all the queer stories! (The ARC also came with temporary tattoos which is beyond cute/fun.)
If you've been following my blog since this time last year, you'd know I've begun exploring more middle grade titles mainly because I definitely missed out on the magic of them when I was that age. The Wizard for Hire series has been one of my absolute favourites! And, lastly, the most shocking thing about my year is that I was sent an ARC of Krista and Becca Ritchie's Whatever It Takes. I'M. SO. EMOTIONAL.
